About the Scientific Calculator
Trigonometric Functions
Supports sine, cosine, tangent and their inverse functions. Use DEG mode for degrees or RAD mode for radians depending on your needs.
Logarithmic Functions
Calculate common logarithm (log base 10), natural logarithm (ln), and exponential functions. Useful for science, engineering, and advanced math.
Math Constants
Built-in mathematical constants including pi (3.14159...) and e (2.71828...) for quick access in your calculations.
Usage Tips
Use parentheses to control the order of operations. The caret (^) symbol represents exponentiation. The exclamation mark (!) calculates factorial for non-negative integers. You can combine multiple functions in a single expression.
Scientific Calculator FAQ
What is the difference between DEG and RAD mode?
DEG mode interprets angle inputs as degrees (0-360), while RAD mode uses radians (0 to 2*pi). For example, sin(90) in DEG mode equals 1, but sin(90) in RAD mode equals approximately 0.894.
What functions are supported?
The calculator supports basic arithmetic (+, -, *, /), trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan, asin, acos, atan), logarithmic functions (log, ln), square root (sqrt), exponentiation (^), factorial (!), exponential (exp), and constants (pi, e).
How do I use factorial?
Type a non-negative integer followed by an exclamation mark. For example, 5! equals 120 (1*2*3*4*5). Factorial is only defined for non-negative integers.
